52 Days on the Ice
A downloadable game
You are alien to each other. For one of you, this world is familiar. You are the Exile. For the other, this world is not. You are the Envoy. You are fleeing something terrible and going into a situation which might be as bad for one or both of you.
Your only route is across a great expanse.
52 Days on the Ice is a two player, GMless tabletop roleplaying game that takes one to four hours to play.
It is a game about how the relationship between two people evolves as they travel across a great expanse in isolation together. 52 Days on the Ice is inspired by the last fourth of the book The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin. Reading The Left Hand of Darkness is not required and this game is fully playable without any knowledge of it.

I heard this played on Party of One and needed it in my life. Excited to buy it so that someone else can have a community copy.
I just played this while snowed in a cabin in the woods with my best friend. I don't think any game could have been more suited to that time, sitting by the fire. The depths of intimacy in the story we told, through the perfectly written scene prompts, left us breathless. Thank you so much for making this game.
Love this story!
i've played this game twice now and it's been an incredible experience both times. it was so wonderful to explore intimacy through this and i think the prompts fostered some really amazing scenes between the other player and i. genuinely almost cried like three times and i think my roommate who i was playing with did actually cry a bit during a few scenes. just a fantastic game!
